The following 3 hotels are all conveniently located next to each other and near the airport and the festival venue. Airport shuttle available (call Embassy Suites or Crowne Plaza for pickup). For people without cars, Embassy Suites and Crowne Plaza offer a free shuttle to the dance venue (1.3 miles from hotel). Call and mention "tango festival" to obtain the quoted rates. Cutoff dates for discounted rates are Nov 3, 2009 (Homestead Suites), Nov 19, 2009 (Embassy Suites) and Dec 3, 2009 (Crowne Plaza). Embassy Suites and Crowne Plaza have received consistently good reviews. Homestead Suites is a minimal service hotel for limited-budget travelers.


• Embassy Suites Hotel St Louis Airport ($89-$99 per day plus tax)
  A full-service upscale all-suite hotel located about 2 miles from airport and 1.3 miles from the festival venue. Each suite consists of a private bedroom and a separate living room with pullout sofa bed (i.e., a double-bed suite has 3 beds). Galley kitchen has wet bar, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. Indoor pool and jacuzzi. Free parking. Free cooked-to-order breakfast and complimentary cocktails in the evening (5.30-7pm). Retaurant located in hotel and large supermarket next door. Ideal for groups who want to share a suite. Hotel shuttle runs on the half hour to the airport and will also transport people to and from the dance studio until 11pm. • Crowne Plaza Hotel St Louis Airport ($81 per day plus tax)
  Another full-service upscale hotel located next to the Embassy Suites. Indoor pool and jacuzzi. Free parking. Breakfast NOT included. Restaurant located in hotel and large supermarket next door. Hotel shuttle provides transportation to and from airport as well as festival venue. Hotel shuttle runs on the half hour until 12.30am. • Homestead Studio Suites Hotel St Louis Airport ($49-$59 per day plus tax)
  A budget studio hotel located next to the above hotels. Rooms have equipped kitchens. Free parking. Use Embassy Suites shuttle and walk across the street to the hotel at no charge (there may be a small charge for the shuttle to drop passengars off directly at Homestead Suites). All three hotels are located next to each other on Lone Eagle Drive, just off of I-70 about 2 miles from the airport and about 1.3 miles from the festival venue. It is a 20-25 minute walk from the hotels to the festival venue. Embassy Suites offers a free shuttle to and from the studio for EVERYONE on the half hour until 11pm. Crowne Plaza offers a free shuttle on the half hour until 12.30am.

Important: Lone Eagle Drive is accessible by car only from Lindbergh going SOUTH. If you are on Lindbergh going north, take I-70 West exit to Lindbergh South. If you miss this exit, you will not be able to turn around for several miles!
